2.1 The DGP-WG is invited to revise Special Provision A70 as follows: A70 Internal combustion or fuel cell engines being shipped either separately or incorporated into a vehicle, machine or other apparatus, the fuel tank of which has never contained any fuel and the fuel system of 1.1 Special Provision A70 of the Technical Instructions applies to engines and vehicles and sets out conditions by which such articles may be excluded from the provisions of the Technical Instructions and as such be presented for transport and carried as non-dangerous goods. SPECIAL PROVISION A67 (Presented by R. Timmins) SUMMARY When Batteries, wet, non-spillable, meet the requirements of Special Provision A67 and Packing Instruction 806, there is no restriction on the battery being carried in passengers checked baggage. Action by the DGP-WG is in paragraph 2.
